The aftermath from the Aisha storm in New Jersey caused significant power outages.


Coastal flood advisories were issued for the entire Jersey Shore until Wednesday 2 am.
Despite the fact that there were just minimal road closings, hundreds of thousands of New Jerseyans who lost power.
According to Jersey Central Power & Light, 1,500,000 customers in Monmouth and Ocean counties lost power by 3:45 Tuesday.

The storm is only adding additional pressure to the region, which is still struggling to open up after the lockdown due to the COVID-19 virus.

According to the National Weather Service, high wind gusts exceeding 65 miles an hour, brought down trees and power lines, damaging equipment throughout the region.

There was even a confirmed tornado reported in Cape May County.
