Here are some of the interesting metrics for Monmouth County real estate: 
■ The number of units sold in March fell by 8% from March 2018.
■ At the same time inventory improved by 1% reversing the trend.
■ The number of sales increased by over 21% to 607 from 500.
■ On the month-to-month basis, inventory jumped 5% to 3,137 from 2,999 for the month of February 2019.
■ The median sale price for a Monmouth County home rose by 5% from $365,000 to $385,000 on a year-to-year basis.
■ An encouraging sign was the boost to inventory from 4.7 months to 5.2 months.
