Legal websites have to have certain personality that communicate who the attorneys are, the kind of results that they obtained, and the way that they approach attorney-client relationships. This is your first chance as an attorney to separate yourself from all other attorneys vying for the same client, or even the best clients.
Three things that you want in your website:
1. Clarity. You don’t want to sound like everyone else. Cut out the mumbo jumbo. Delete that legalese language. Talk results not litigation and contracts. What are you bringing to the table? Experience? Specialty? Results absolutely.
2. About you. You should confirm the outcome that your prospect is looking for. Your bio should typically have your background briefly stated, a photo or professionally headshot and a quick way to contact you.
3. Areas of practice. Here is a practice can include anything and everything from administrative law, litigation, contracts, professional malpractice, real estate, Healthcare, human resource law.
4. Calls-to-Action. Also there should be multiple calls to action throughout the website. Calls to action which include social media length, send us a message forms, request a free consultation.
5. Blog. Another valuable asset is the ability for the attorney to blog period both attorneys named not wanted even consider the necessity of blogging but blogging is one of the best ways that a prospect can understand how their attorney or perspective attorney thanks and how successful they are at navigating the circuitous Waters of business, family law or real estate.
6. The CMS. [Content management system) of the website, I recommend using is WordPress, since it is easy to manage, historically ranks well with Google and customization.
