Installing a new garage door can be a relatively good investment – costing from $750 to $1,600. Think of it as being a good neighbor – giving buyers the shout-out they are looking for. Windows: If you are thinking about selling in the next couple years, don’t wait to replace your old windows! Why? Well, aside from giving you an ROI of about 68%, if you do it a couple years before you plan to sell, you will probably recoup up to 25% or more on your heating costs!

Bathroom renos: A modern sink, mirror, lighting and walk-in shower an be a show-stopper or show-stealer. Bathrooms are important aspect of a home appeal that sweetens the sale. Updated bathrooms can have an ROPI of up to 60% and cost $5,000-$12,000.
