Recalibration 2023

I believe that 2023 is going to be the year of recalibration. The way business was done 3 years ago doesn’t exist any longer. The way it needs to be done and will be done in 2023 and 2024 is emerging and taking shape. Whether we choose to accept it or not, there’s some features and qualities that we can carry from one business template into the new business template.

1. We have all been changed by the events of the last 3 years. We’re not the same people, and so we should not expect or demand that others are also. What we can do is we can recognize who they are and what they represent to our business, in the past and hopefully in the future. The first thing that we should celebrate, honor and cultivate is client loyalty. Loyalty is something that is earned. You just don’t pick up a quarter pound of it at the supermarket. It’s developed through a series of events, relationships and experiences that demonstrate how you have been able to deliver value and certainty to your customers.
▪︎ Recognize it. Remember it (everyone tends to forget when in the middle of a significant change).
▪︎ Everyone who has given you repeated business in the past is worth recognizing and celebrating.
▪︎ Make the business process even more effective and easier to happen.

2. Client Satisfaction
Happy customers are motivated referral sources.

3. Value & Savings
If what you do delivers greater value to their organization, make sure that you celebrate it. By delivering value, you actually are providing them greater resources to expand their business by using unused capital to develop new customer business. Also if your customers begin to talk to each other to discover they both enjoy the same service and quality, you entrench yourself into their good graces.
