Blizzard Forecast for the Jersey Shore

The U.S. Weather Service is predicting up to 18 inches of snow will fall from late Friday afternoon until late Saturday afternoon. They are also warning about potential blizzard conditions with winds coming in at 60 MPH.

This is the first time the Garden State has issued a blizzard warning in four years.
The storm will reach from Washington, DC to Maine and impact major metropolitan areas such as Washington, DC, New York City, Boston and up along the Eastern seaboard.

Forecasters are predicting blizzard-like conditions, wind gusts, wind chills, tidal flooding, and very dangerous visibility conditions.

Wind chill factors will most likely bring the temperature feel too below zero. Winter storm warnings have been issued for the following counties: Middlesex, Mercer, Burlington, Somerset, Gloucester, and Camden.
