What happened was a surge of beach attendance that beat the numbers for 2019.
It seemed that the surge of beach-goers tracked the surge in real estate sales.
The city exodus brought more people to the less populated regions of Ocean and Monmouth Counties.
The Federal CARES Act funding helped many local businesses not only survive but thrive amidst this economic disruption.
