June 27 – Berkeley Township Summer Veterans Park, Bill Zimmerman Way, Berkeley. Concert 6 p.m. and Fireworks 9 p.m.
June 30 – Manchester Independence Day Celebration at Harry Wright Lake, Lake Road
Festival 2 p.m. with kids rides, games, contests, food and live music. Fireworks at dusk.
June 30-July 4 – Six Flags Great Adventure’s July 4th Fest. Fireworks nightly at 10 p.m.; USO Show Troupe will perform 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m., & 8 p.m. July 3rd and July 4th.
July 1 – In Toms River, Celebrate America! The Garden State Philharmonic will perform at the Ocean County Library, Washington Street, Toms River, 7 p.m., outside the library. The Garden State Philharmonic Orchestra and the GSP Community Chorus will perform. This event has taken place since the 1960s, where locals bring their own chairs for this outdoor concert.
July 1 – Lavallette Independence Day Celebration at the Lavallette Gazebo, Philadelphia Ave.
Concert begins at 8 p.m. with Fireworks following at 9 p.m.
July 3 – Lakewood Independence Day Celebration. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. with Fireworks 9:15 p.m.
July 3 – Lakewood BlueClaws at FirstEnergy Park, New Hampshire and Cedar Bridge Avenues.
Postgame fireworks after the Lakewood BlueClaws vs. Delmarva Shorebirds baseball game.
July 3-4 – Lakehurst Independence Day Fireworks, Parade and Car Show. Fireworks at the lake at dusk on July 3 (July 7 raindate). Parade and car show on July 4 with the parade starting at 11 a.m. down Union Avenue, Lakehurst. Car show goes from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lakehurst Elementary School.
July 4 – Lavallette Patriotic Bike Parade on President Avenue in Lavallette. Parade begins at 9 a.m.
July 4 – Beachwood’s 4th of July Fireworks over the Toms River on Bayside Ave., Beachwood. Fireworks start at dusk.
July 4 – Pine Beach 4th of July Parade & Family Field Games located at the Pine Beach Firehouse.
Parade begins at 9 a.m. at the firehouse. Games include running races, peanut scramble, women’s balloon blowing contest, sack races, men’s tug of war, water balloon toss.
July 4 – Point Pleasant Beach Independence Day Celebration located at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk & Beach, 300 Ocean Ave. Fireworks start at dusk.
July 4 – Seaside Heights Fourth of July Fireworks located at the Seaside Heights Boardwalk. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
July 4 – Seaside Park Patriotic Bike Parade. Bayview & 14th Ave. Parade begins at 9 a.m.
July 4 – South Toms River Independence Day Celebration. Celebration 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.; free activities for kids.
July 5 – Brick’s 2018 Annual Summerfest Concert located at Windward Beach, Princeton Avenue, Brick. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and the Fireworks at dark.
