Schneider’s Restaurant was gutted by a fire early Saturday morning. The restaurant is owned by Johann and Beverly Schneider, a family-run business which began back in Newark New Jersey in the 1960’s.
When the Schneider family moved its digs to Avon-by-the-Sea in 1970, it began specializing in provide great German cooking to the Jersey Shore.
